Had to stop for doubles on the way into the city this morning and they did not disappoint. Food was great! We got a few drinks (pictured) as well. Shop was clean and service was quick. Edit: We couldn't leave the city without stopping again! The doubles were just too good. We grabbed bake and shark today as well. That was also a 5/5. The fudge was also tasty. Can't wait for our next trip to NYC to grab more doubles. Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5

The extremely long lines at this all time fav of a Trini roti shop is well worth the wait. Today went in for the infamous Bake and shark and it was on point! Bake a fried dough sandwich pocket and fried shark topped with lettuce , tomato, shredded cabbage, cucumbers and pineapple! Drizzled with tamarind, garlic and shado-benny sauce and pepper sauce is a sandwich from the Gods! Typically sold at the popular Maracas Beach in Trinidad! Friendly staff for the most part . Ample seating indoors. But absolutely no parking, meter maids are always out so he careful!

Trini Delite, truly delightful! I work around the block from there off Liberty Ave and I've been talking about trying Trini food for the longest and I was blessed to have an amazing experience today. I ordered the boneless curry chicken with rice. Delicious chicken with gravy works perfectly with the rice! Also have to get the Roti paratha that goes very well with the curry chicken. I spent about $35 on everything but there is more to come folks. THEN, I ordered 2 channa doubles... lord have mercy I was in heaven! Perfectly cooked channa with the puri bread, it was mouth watering. Especially with the pepper sauce everything was fresh and delicious. Customer service and ambiance was great! I ordered on Uber Eats and my food was prepared quickly!! I HIGHLY recommend getting their aloo pie, yum yum yum! I think I might have to take the 2 hour drive again and again for this food! Truly a DELIGHTFUL DECISION.

So I fell in love with Trinidadian food years ago when I first visited the island. It is SO HARD to find good authentic Trinidadian food in the states. Well if you are in NY, come here! The food is SO good, it's sitting out for you to see and pick what you want. The service is fast and on point. Now you can't sit down and eat here, there are no seats. You pick your food up and take it with you. So by much to say about the ambiance, but still, come eat here. They have the BEST doubles and roti.

No long writing here if you are looking for authentic Trinidadian food, this is the place to go. As soon as hubby came to pick me up from JFK airport, we stopped here for some food. The atmosphere is clean. They always have a long line which indicates great food and all the Trinidadian snacks you want. I ordered Curry Goat with Pumpkin and Curry Potato with Buss Up Shot, and everything is well seasoned. I even ordered not pictured the Fish Broth and OMG was it delicious. It was a lot more food ordered like Doubles and Currents Rolls and Coconut Rolls, etc. We spent a good amount of money that's how good this place is :) I highly recommend and will FOREVER support this spot.......cheers :)
